Kohoku Kogyo has developed the original quartz production process using the advanced slurry cast method in order to manufacture quartz fiber arrays for a variety of optical communication uses.
Micro Capillary Arrays are our new products which are produced by applying our original quartz production process.

Square Hole Capillary
Kohoku’s original quartz glass production process enables the manufacture of the square hole capillary. Our original advanced slurry casting method allows us to create a square hole of any size within the quartz glass. Alternately, we can create an array of square holes within the quartz glass.

Micro Capillary Tube
Kohoku advanced slurry casting method helped us to develop a manufacturing process for micro capillary tubes made from quartz glass. Both round hole and square hole are available. Quartz glass has very good thermal, optical and chemical properties and it can be used not only for telecommunications but also for different biomedical, medical, micro device applications.
